Dear God,

Good morning. I am still very sleepy. Thank you for your word that changes me daily. Today, God, I pray for my wife Jennie, that you will help her to achieve balance in her life. There are so many things competing for her attention, and I know that she often feels like she can never get it all where it needs to be. Please help her to rely on you. Show me, O God, where I can help out, especially around the house. Help her to make time for herself. Help her to make time for you and her to be alone together. Help her to make time for her and me to be together.

I know that she has a life outside of our home, so please help me to provide for her so that she can spend that well-needed time out of the house. Help her to feel secure in you, and for me to constanly shower her with my appreciation. Yes, help me to notice the smallest things.

You are such an awesome God. Our struggles are nothing for you to handle. You are making us strong. Help us to more deeply surrender the situations and as a whole - our entire lives - to you.

Give us deeper convictions so that when the enemy tempts us and tries to get us to doubt and forget, that we will be armed and ready to fight and overcome.

I praise you for giving us your Holy Spirit to live inside of us and make us spiritual. Help us not to grieve it by constantly taking our lives into our own hands.

In your son Jesus' name I pray,
Amen
