Dear God,

Thanks for this day. Even though things happened to make it different from other days, I'm glad I stayed home so that Jennie's needs could be met. I pray that you will help her to feel better, that the medicine would work.

I'm glad that I could see Keisha on and off the school bus today. You are helping me to appreciate some of the smaller things in my life. You have given me a beautiful wife and daughter, and so much more.

Lord, help me to control my impulses, to be in touch with the fact that my body is the temple of your Holy Spirit.

May your blessing be on the rest of this day.
