Dear God,

I have to thank you for what I'm learning. Through the events of the past week, I realize how easily I can take life for granted. Being at the visitation this past Tuesday helped me to appreciate every waking moment of my life and my relationships. Thank you so much for my wife, daughter, and mom, with whom I'm able to share my home.

Lord Jesus, you know everything with which I struggle. You intercede for me before God. I am thankful for your sacrifice.

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for living inside me and helping me to live a godly life.

I pray for my wife, that you will help her day to go by quickly and that you will give her the strength she needs to do her job.
