God,

Good morning. In a few hours we'll be waking up to get ready for church. I enjoy so much the music I'm listening to. It reminds me of our relationship: the closeness, the love you have for me, my desire for you, your everlasting presence in my life.

Lord, I want to be constantly aware of your presence in my life. I want to do what is right, and I pray for the heart to obey your commands. I pray for a heart of openness when I'm around my brothers in Christ. I pray for humility to share what's going on in my life. Help me to trust, too.

I pray for a great night's sleep, as I have this music playing. I pray for everyone in my family to be well-rested, as we have a big day planned.

Lord, you have never failed us. You show us your blessings every day.

You are so good to us. I praise you for letting me have a relationship with you.

Please help me to see myself as a man of strength. Not out of myself, but a man strong because I have your Holy Spirit of power.

Lord, I love you, and I thank you for watching over us tonight.
