Good morning, God! Thank you for blessing me with another day. I praise you because you are so reliable, so perfect, so consistent in everything you do. This causes me to wonder why I don't rely on you more. Oh yeah, that's right... I often think I have a better way, and since you don't make all the details known to me when I want them, I go off and do my own thing. I need your help in remembering that you are in control, that you have my best interests in mind.

Proverbs 3:5-6 states:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Today I present my time to you and ask, what would you like me to do today? You know me better than I do myself, and I want you to lead. Here. Take over. I surrender. Help me with my lack of surrender.

And here's a big hug and kiss from me to you. I look forward to the time when I get to do it in heaven. Thank you for your unfailing love.
